Ginger Cowgirl TrioThe core of Ginger Cowgirl is California-born Stacy Antonel, a vocalist whose range and versatility allow her to sing rock, jazz, soul, pop and country with equal proficiency and passion. She’s a classically trained pianist from the age of 7, holds a degree from UC Berkeley, and got her start in the music industry singing jingles while living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2013 she beat out hundreds of singers to win the $10,000 grand prize on Fox’s televised singing competition “3 Minutes to Stardom”. But now he's focusing on acoustic music, and has played many of our events, including the tribute to Eric Clapton. trophiesIt's Month 9 in our 10-month contest. Three judges award prizes for Best Song, Best Performance, and Best Overall. Each contestant does 2 original songs. It's free to attend; contestants pay $5 entry fee, but that includes a glass of wine, beer or soft drink, and the entry fee goes toward the $500 grand prize in the June 2019 finals.

 

Our prizes are sponsored by Painted Sky Recording Studio (Best Overall), JP Maddex Voice Lessons (Best Performance), and Brett Perkins of the Listening Room International Songwriting Retreats (Best Song).
